Job details

The purpose of the contract is to increase the level of information and public awareness about the European Union, its policies and programmes and their impact on citizens' daily lives; the process of integration of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia into the European Union as well as about the European Union's role in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (including the objectives and results of the EU's financial assistance
programmes).

The contract will include various information and communication activities with the aim of building public support for the accession process based on well-informed and realistic expectations, such as: creation and implementation of strategies and information campaigns, running of the EU Information Centre in Skopje and coordination of the EU information network in the country, event and visit management, press and media relations (including media monitoring), web page development and update, networking, production of
publications and promotional materials, update of databases, research issues and other necessary activities in the information and communication domain.
