Job details

The objective of the contract is to improve the capacity of the NAO and relevant line ministries in implementing EU-funded projects. This includes capacity building and training in:
i) all stages of project cycle management (PCM) including project programming, identification, formulation, implementation and evaluation;
ii) training in sound financial management;
iii) training in EU procedures (EDF and budget);
iv) assisting with the integration of cross-cutting issues in all EU-funded projects by helping projects draw up and implement guidelines and action plans;
v) supporting the establishment of a management information system (MIS) for EU and donor projects.
The contract is supportive of the EU's backbone strategy on providing technical assistance with some experts assisting with project implementation while others will solely focus on training and capacity building.
