The global objective of the assignment was to assist the National Treasury and the EU Delegation to
South Africa to design (a) programme(s) aimed at improving public service delivery innovation and performance in municipalities through enhanced financial management and organisational
(institutional & human) capacity in line with the mandates of local government.
The specific objective of this assignment, was to contribute to the design of (a) multi-disciplinary programme(s), scheduled for 2017, taking into account the preliminary work done by the EU Delegation to South Africa and the Government of South Africa.
