The objective of the monitoring and communication Assignment is to support the Danish Embassy in Addis Ababa in
(a) establishing and facilitating a functioning monitoring and risk management system for the Country Programme and other development engagements that will help improve programme effectiveness, facilitate learning and ensure informed decisionmaking by the Embassy and its partners, and maximise transparency and accountability regarding the development of the programme;
(b) communicating to both the Ethiopian and Danish general public and certain specific target groups relevant achievements and results obtained by the Country Programme and other partnerships in the Embassy’s country portfolio.

As a joint AU-German Government initiative, the GIZ project "Citizen Engagement and Innovative Data Use for Africa's Development (DataCipation)" project aims to strengthen the engagement between AU Organs, Regional Economic Communities, Member States and citizens leveraging data, digital and non-digital approaches for good governance and development.
Core activities are the development and implementation of communication formats enabling participatory, inclusive and creative engagement for citizens in line with the AU brand identity as well as capacity development for AU staff on interactive communication tools and methodologies.
As a second project under this contract, the GIZ Support Project to the AfCFTA (AfCFTA project) is supported through professional communication services.

The project focuses on improving access to Early Childhood Education for all children with a focus on vulnerable children: refugees and children with disabilities.
Particip sets up and manages a flexible short-term expert pool to contribute to all Outputs and to achieve defined indicators with the respective deliverables.

The overall objective of this contract is to support and strengthen the communication, public diplomacy and visibility of the EU in Chile and its priority areas: (i) governance and human rights, (ii) green deal/sustainable growth/jobs in connection with ocean and land (iii) digitalisation, science & technology, education, and culture.

The current objective is to improve the performance of the Swiss HoA programme. This overall work to improve the programme is called the “Framework for Risk Governance and Adaptive Programming” (FRAP). It will be implemented over a twelve year timeframe. FRAP will initially focus on Somalia (including Somaliland).

This mission is designed to improve the favourable environment for the development of growth-oriented Senegalese SMEs; and to strengthen the business ecosystem for selected clusters in Senegal.

The Somalia Crisis Recovery Project is a flood and disaster recovery, and reconstruction project financed by the World Bank to the Federal Ministry of Finance (MOF). It will support immediate and sustainable flood recovery and finance activities to mitigate against future shocks, by supporting: (a) immediate early floods recovery and service delivery restoration activities; (b) immediate support activities to respond and mitigate COVID 19; (c) medium-term rehabilitation of flood-impacted infrastructure, services and livelihoods; (d) elements of immediate and longer-term crisis preparedness and recovery; (e) detailed flood risk management plans, including both structural and non-structural flood risk management solutions for the country; and (f) support to enhance government performance and accountability and citizen engagement in service delivery.

The objective of the assignment was to strengthen change and knowledge management at the SADC Secretariat through assessment of opportunities and threats to change and development of tools to implement and monitor change and knowledge management.

The purpose of this contract is:

• To support the EUD and relevant Government bodies in the more effective delivery of quality primary education services, through targeted technical assistance that will provide institutional strengthening support, capacity building, policy advice and evidence-based research, as required;
• To support the EUD and relevant Government bodies in the more effective delivery of TVET services, through targeted technical assistance that will provide institutional strengthening support, capacity building, policy advice and evidence-based research, as required. Support to the establishment of a SWAP in TVET, through enhanced results-based planning, management and assessment and improved coordination across the TVET sector;
• To support the relevant Government bodies responsible for Finance and Procurement in improving the Public Financial Management (PFM) system in ensuring adequate and equitable financing and management of funds.
• To support the EUD in (i) facilitating more effective policy dialogue with MoE and MoPME by providing technical inputs for strategic thinking on further policy analysis, development and implementation within the education sector in Bangladesh; (ii) periodic monitoring and assessment of overall sector performance and progress in the implementation of the NEP, Sector Budget Support (SBS) eligibility criteria and assessment of progress towards the HCDP21 disbursement linked indicators (DLI) targets of the TVET sector and, if required, for the primary education sector.

The overall objective of this contract is to contribute to the use an evidence-based approach for
programming and implementing interventions in the North of Africa region as well as informing
policymaking around the themes of the EUTF in the region.

• Specific Objective 1: The EUTF management team benefits from an efficient MLS monitoring

and reporting on the progresses of EUTF initiatives in the North of Africa window.

• Specific Objective 2: The EUTF management team benefits from a learning strategy generating

evidence-based knowledge to inform policymaking and future programming in the region.
