The main objective of the mission was to provide technical assistance to the TAAF for the design / formulation of the new cooperation programme for the period 2021-2027 (regional envelope), as well as the identification and design of actions to strengthen the regional integration of the TAAF.
Specific objectives:
- OS1: To provide technical assistance required by the TAAF territory for the formulation/design of the Indian Ocean regional programme 2021-2027. The formulation will be based on the Multi-Annual Indicative Programme (MIP) presented by TAAF as Authorising Officer.
- OS2: Support the TAAF territory to identify and formulate joint actions and/or actions to be carried out in collaboration with other outermost regions and states in the region in order to strengthen regional integration.
