Project description
The Strategic Communication and Public Diplomacy Facility Project is a 3-year initiative funded by the European Union Delegation to the Federal Republic of Somalia. The project aims to contribute to state-building and stabilization efforts in Somalia by targeting the general public through campaigns and actions designed to increase awareness, understanding, and approval of the EU’s partnership with the country, as well as its role in the region and the world. The Team Leader, in collaboration with the Particip GmbH team, is expected to design and implement major public campaigns at the national level. The objective is to measurably enhance the profile, awareness, understanding, and approval of the EU’s partnership with Somalia. All campaigns will be data-driven, rigorously tracking key performance indicators to allow continuous adjustments in line with evidence of the most successful approaches and materials resonating with the audience.
Job description
The Team Leader will be responsible for the conceptualization, planning, and implementation of all activities and deliverables outlined in the contract, ensuring quality control under the guidance of the EU Delegation. The Team Leader is expected to foster teamwork, synergies, and provide strategic guidance and coordination.
The Team Leader will be based in Nairobi. He/she will be expected to perform regular missions to Mogadishu (up to 20% of the time). Security measures will be arranged accordingly.
Ca. 340 working days are foreseen (on average 10 days per month).
