The objective of the project was to provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Justice, Human Rights and Civic Promotion and the Ministry of Security in order to support them in the implementation of their projects, which are the subject of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Kingdom of Denmark and the Government of Burkina Faso.

This evaluation provides the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Finland with a comprehensive assessment of the achievements, challenges, and impacts of implementing the policy priority area on sustainable management and use of natural resources. It includes four evaluations covering forests and biodiversity, water resources management, energy and circular economy, and disaster risk reduction (including meteorology), with a synthesis report offering meta-level insights and identifying opportunities for Finnish private sector engagement. The evaluation focuses on the OECD DAC criteria of effectiveness and impact, delivering evidence-based recommendations to enhance future policy and operational strategies while addressing resource constraints and exploring geospatial data applications for improved monitoring and evaluation.

The overall objective of lot 2 Framework Contract is to provide, as defined via individual assignments and contracted through specific contracts, short-term expertise to support electoral processes in partner countries.

The global objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is to contribute to enhanced youth engagement and youth inclusion in the programmes and policies of the European Union Delegation to Malawi.

This project aims to learn from EU programme implementation in support of refugees and host communities and obtain an assessment of results reported under programme T05-EUTFHOA-KE-69 ‘Enhancing self-reliance of refugees and host communities’, while improving in programme monitoring and evaluation frameworks with the aim of enhanced effectiveness and efficiency of future implementation.

Under this framework agreement, suppliers will provide advice and expertise to FCDO in the thematic areas of education, gender and social inclusion.

The general objective is to help strengthen democratic governance in Burundi by building the technical capacity of the National Communication Council and the Ombudsman Institution of the Republic of Burundi.

The purpose of this contract is:

• To support the EUD and relevant Government bodies in the more effective delivery of quality primary education services, through targeted technical assistance that will provide institutional strengthening support, capacity building, policy advice and evidence-based research, as required;
• To support the EUD and relevant Government bodies in the more effective delivery of TVET services, through targeted technical assistance that will provide institutional strengthening support, capacity building, policy advice and evidence-based research, as required. Support to the establishment of a SWAP in TVET, through enhanced results-based planning, management and assessment and improved coordination across the TVET sector;
• To support the relevant Government bodies responsible for Finance and Procurement in improving the Public Financial Management (PFM) system in ensuring adequate and equitable financing and management of funds.
• To support the EUD in (i) facilitating more effective policy dialogue with MoE and MoPME by providing technical inputs for strategic thinking on further policy analysis, development and implementation within the education sector in Bangladesh; (ii) periodic monitoring and assessment of overall sector performance and progress in the implementation of the NEP, Sector Budget Support (SBS) eligibility criteria and assessment of progress towards the HCDP21 disbursement linked indicators (DLI) targets of the TVET sector and, if required, for the primary education sector.

The Global Objective of this contract is to coordinate and promote synergies between the different components of the Partnerships for Sustainable Cities programme (hereafter “the C2C programme”), building on/capitalizing on the activities carried out and outputs achieved with the support of the previous Technical Facilitation team.

The main objectives of this sector evaluation were to provide the relevant services of the European Union and the interested stakeholders with:

• An overview of the FPI funded actions to counter disinformation/FIMI
• An overall independent assessment of the past performance of the actions relevant to countering foreign interference and manipulation of information, funded under different strands of budget managed by the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (NDICI-Crisis Response, NDICI-Foreign Policy Needs, Thematic MIP Peace and Stability, Instrument Contributing for Stability and Peace Article 3, 4 and 5 respectively), paying particular attention to their approach, the coherence of the approach taken in different countries, intermediate or final results measured against expected objectives; and the reasons underpinning such results;
• An in-detail evaluation of 12 actions to be selected in the inception period;
• Key lessons learned and related recommendations in order to improve current and future Actions, particularly concerning the approach taken to countering FIMI and disinformation in third countries;
• Key lessons learned to improve coordination and articulation with other actions and initiatives in the field of countering FIMI/disinformation implemented by other EC services (NEAR, INTPA, COMM, CNCT, JRC, RTD) and EEAS.
