The overall objective is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the EU (what the EU is), of EU values, priorities and actions (what the EU stands for), and especially of EU cooperation in Sierra Leone, focusing on the impact of EU support to the benefit of the Sierra Leonean people and presenting the EU as a key partner regarding the consolidation of peace and stability as well as in achieving a sustainable and inclusive development.

Technical assistance services to strengthen competent institutions in environmental and forestry governance in Paraguay.
The main purpose of the required services is to support national efforts in governance, with emphasis on reducing the incidence and extent of extreme forest fires, planning and territorial ordering, promoting the multifunctional value of ecosystems, exploring opportunities, risks and exposure of natural capital; and local development.

To assist the Justice and Accountability Programme (JAP) deliver on its result areas: i) Improved delivery of timely, quality justice, and access to justice for the most vulnerable persons; ii) Improved use of social and economic reintegration measures for persons deprived of their liberty, by institutional and civic stakeholders and iii) Enhanced citizen’s voice and effective participation in accountability mechanisms

The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is “to increase inclusive access to and use of ICT in Jamaica, in support of the country’s transitioning activities towards becoming a digital economy and society”.

The main goal of the project is to ensure the management of areas that are protected under the Natura 2000 framework in Bulgaria.
The implementation of the project is done in accordance with the scope and content of the measures of the National Prioritised Action Framework for NATURA 2000 (PAF) for the period 2021-2027 under Article 8 of the Habitats Directive.
The specific objectives are:

• To complete the process of determining specific objectives and measures for protected areas

from the Natura 2000 network (development of specific objectives and measures for 250
protected areas, and conservation measures for 90 protected areas, which will complete the
process of determining specific for protected areas objectives and conservation measures);

• To achieve a better understanding among the interested parties regarding the process of

determining specific goals and measures of the protected areas of the Natura 2000 network;

• To build the capacity of the administrations involved in the management process of

the Natura 2000 network.

The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is: position the EU as a supporter of the Myanmar people and as a partner of reference in the eyes of the wider public and selected stakeholders.
Strategic communication and public diplomacy play a key role in communicating the EU’s messages, shaping its image in partner countries, and building trust and fostering networks with key audiences and partners. Yet, public awareness, understanding and recognition of the EU in partner countries, including Myanmar, is not necessarily commensurate with the scale, scope and ambition of EU’s sustained engagement.

The objective of the FWC is to provide, via individual assignments defined and contracted through Specific Contracts, expertise which can be mobilised at short notice.
