Final Evaluation - Governance Programme in The Gambia

The main objectives of this evaluation were to provide the relevant services of the European Union, the interested stakeholders, and the wider public with:

• An overall independent assessment of the past performance of the Governance programme, paying particular attention to its results measured against its objectives;
• Key lessons and recommendations in order to improve and future Actions.

In particular, this final evaluation will serve to:

(1) Make an assessment of the programme, its design, implementation and results, and to

(2) Determine the relevance and fulfilment of objectives, developmental efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability.

The main users of this evaluation will be the EU Delegation and the National Authorising Officer (NAO).
